​​Kevin Sayers is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Music Education (BSME). Within the past few years, Kevin has taught numerous percussion ensembles, including Marcato Independent Open, Infinity Percussion (6 th place in 2018), and Newsome High School Percussion (4 th place in Scholastic Open 2017). Most recently, Kevin served as the band director at Newsome High School, where he took the program to FMBC finals for the first time in 7 years, winning the honor of ‘Best Percussion’ in class 4a. Kevin Sayers currently works in the Tampa Bay Area, where he teaches instrumental music and percussion.
